ALIT Academy Magazine
With the aim of providing its customers and distributors with a tool through which they can stay up-to-date with the latest company news, ALIT Technologies – a company specialized in the production of products and systems for the chemical stripping of metals – created the ALIT Academy brand.
To promote this project, ALIT entrusted us with the creation of a magazine that reflected, in design and content, the brand and the communication goals.
The magazine, in addition to featuring fixed sections dedicated to the latest product news, is rich in content aimed at showing corporate life and the people who, working behind the scenes, collaborate in the success of ALIT, as well as all the sustainability and community support initiatives run by the company.
Art Within Surfaces | #EosTenYears
For the tenth anniversary of our company, we have created an event that guided our guests on a journey through Art, Nature and Industry to discover the close link between creativity and surfaces. The event took place in the Rossini Art Site, a park nestled among the green hills of Brianza that houses one of the most important open air art collections of the late twentieth century.
Guests were able to enjoying a guided tour of the park, before exploring the flavours and of the Italian and Japanese cuisine.
During the evening a charity auction of artworks created or donated specifically for the event also took place. The proceeds have been donated for the restoration and maintenance of the War Memorial in the city of Monza.
Colouring Consulting Day
In collaboration with the Association of Architects of Milan, Color Designer Francesca Valan and with the participation of Landscape Architect Flora Vallone, we put together a workshop dedicated to architects, designers and surface technicians.
The objective? Promoting co-design and direct interaction between architects and surface technicians to encourage the exchange of contextualized and specific information for the selected project.
10 teams were able to work on as many architectural projects, some of them real, experimenting with colours and materials, and counting on the support of the technical sponsors – manufacturers of pigments, paints and coatings – for the choice of the right finishing.
The Language of Finishing & The Amazing World of Finishing
Over the course of two years, we have organized a series of seminars to deepen the knowledge on the existing relationship between aesthetics, sensorial experience and functionality of finishes for architecture and product design.
Each seminar focused on the different functions of finishing by presenting technologies, innovative products, application techniques and semi-finished products able to satisfy that specific function, with the aim of strengthening the dialogue between designers, architects and manufacturers of industrial paints with training useful for both companies and creatives.
The project, called The Language of Finishing, took place with the participation of exceptional guest speakers from Politecnico di Milano (Arch. Dante Benini, Massimiliano Mandarini), from the IED – European Design Institute (Alessandro Chiarato, Laura Negrini, Studio Angeletti Ruzza Design, Marco Pietrosante and Francesco Subioli) and Domus Academy (Alberto Bonisoli, Claudia Raimondo). All these institutions also lent their spaces to host the seminars.
The event culminated at Fuorisalone, during Milan Design Week, at the THECA sensorial space, where, through the exhibition The Amazing World of Finishing, visitors were able to experience first-hand smart coatings, special aesthetic and tactile effects, and innovative materials applied to everyday objects.
Special Guest during the event at the Fuorisalone was Valentino Rossi’s Ducati Showbike.
